DIRECTOR, OFFSHORE OPERATIONS
We have been retained to find and recruit a Director, Offshore Operations, for
our client, a leading international engineering, procurement, and
construction firm. With revenues of $31 billion annually, The Company is ranked as the top U.S construction
contractor, and one of the top contractors in the world, serving the power, oil and gas,
government, and infrastructure industries.
The successful candidate will develop and
lead Offshore O&G Operations to ensure the timely execution of
project specifications while mitigating risks and maximizing
opportunities and quality. This position requires a successful track
record of project completion with on-time delivery and within budget.
This position will be located in the Western United States.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Oversee
and manage all aspects of project management, including engineering
design, procurement, and construction activities for major offshore oil & gas projects.
- Responsible
for overseeing the management, coordination, and administration of all
offshore projects, from the conceptual stage through planning,
engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Responsible for overseeing contract review, coordinating the
participation of responsible entities, and defining the major task
areas.
- Develop and maintain relationships within a broad
client base including subcontractors and oil services firms.
- Demonstrate and deliver visible leadership in safety, quality, and compliance.
- Maintain
a strategic approach to improving future delivery performance, while
ensuring the highest possible detail on current activities.
Key skills & experience that our client desires include:
- Working knowledge of offshore production facilities with specific experience in deepwater technology (FPSO) for remote sites.
- B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management (or related discipline).
- Minimum of 15 years EPC experience (fixed price and cost plus) in the offshore oil & gas industry.
- Domestic and international experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects at multiple locations with a minimum project size experience of $1 billion dollars.
- Leadership ability with excellent communication skills.
