PRESIDENT

We have been retained by our client to identify and recruit the President of an Oil, Gas, & Chemicals Division within a leading multi-billion dollar, international EPC firm. The successful candidate will focus on the growth and optimization of division operations with profit and loss responsibility for all global engineering, procurement, construction, and construction management services.  This position requires a a high-energy and visionary leader with the ability to foster a strong, team-oriented culture consistent with the Company's values.

This position will be located in the United States.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Executive management with a focus on growth and business optimization in the the oil, gas, and chemicals sector.
  • Ensure daily operations are effectively and efficiently coordinated, implemented, and conducted within the framework of the overall corporate strategy.
  • Develop and cultivate a wide range of relationships and networks to solidify the Company's position as a highly regarded organization within the EPC industry.
  • Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders including the Board, funders, contract counterparties, customers, and partners.
  • Build and maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication, and coaching.
  • Establish operational and/or performance goals which are aggressive, achievable, and meet or exceed long-term goals.
Key skills and experience that our client desires include:
  • B.S. in Engineering (or related discipline) is required, and an MBA is preferable.
  • 20-25 years of management experience in the EPC industry, with a strong focus on construction services and project management. 
  • Experience managing an organization with a minimum corporate P&L responsibility of one billion dollars in annual revenue.
  • A high-energy, results-oriented leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Must have a personal commitment to organizational excellence, displaying honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions.
  • Understanding of how to mitigate commercial risk to enhance opportunities for successful business/project performance.
