DISTRICT MANAGER
We have been retained by our client to identify and recruit a District
Manager. Our Client is a full-service environmental remediation,
demolition, geotechnical, and water-related services firm serving both
public and private sector clients. Ranked by ENR Magazine as one of the
“Top 20 All-Environmental Firms,” the Company applies multidisciplinary
scientific, engineering, and construction expertise to serve the
environmental needs of national and international clients. The District
Manager has profit and loss responsibility over a certain district.
This senior level position is involved with high-level discussions and
decision-making regarding short and long term tactical planning,
budgeting, sales, and overall strategic planning for the District and
Company.
This position will be located in the Northwest Region of the United States.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Develop and achieve yearly District budget.
- Assist with the development and demonstration of leadership regarding the company’s safety culture and safe work expectations.
- Ensure the District is in compliance with the Company’s
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) including both project execution
and internal administration SOP’s, as well as all company policies and
procedures.
- Develop long term strategic growth plans for the District including further market penetration of the Company business.
- Responsible for client satisfaction including the delivery of services in a timely, regulatory compliant and quality manner.
Key skills and experience that our client desires include:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or related field (or equivalent education and/or experience)
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of construction management experience in similar heavy construction environment.
- Possess and demonstrate the highest levels of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
- Thorough
knowledge of all aspects of remedial construction (technology,
equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations,
engineering, estimating, schedules, contract and cost administration,
and safety.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal),
organizational, and supervisory skills, along with high level contract
and cost administration skills
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project Scheduling.
