SENIOR FIELD SCHEDULER
We have been retained by our client to identify and recruit a Senior
Field Scheduler. Our Client is the largest EPC firm in the United
States, with annual revenues of approximately $27 billion dollars. The
Senior Field Scheduler will work in either the Oil & Gas Business
Unit, or the Power Business Unit; both of which are multi-billion
dollar international divisions. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing and driving the construction schedule and
construction planning for large billion-dollar plus industrial projects.
This position will be located on the Gulf Coast or Upper Midwest United States.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Anticipate
needs and deliver construction results that meet the project schedule
in conjunction with the Project Controls Manager and the Project
Construction Manager while using well-established project planning
protocols and tools.
- Implement effective schedule maintenance throughout a project
life cycle, with accurate status and management reporting, and
conclusive resolution of schedule impacts and associated problems.
- Utilize ancillary scheduling tools for analysis, such as risk
management, contingency, management reports, production and resource
curves, and preemptive analyses.
- Interface with other functional groups such as contracts or construction management in order to meet contractual obligations.
Key skills and experience that our client desires include:
- B.S. Engineering or Construction Management (or experience equivalent).
- Minimum
of 10 years of project scheduling experience on large ($1.5B+)
industrial construction projects with an excellent track record of
meeting construction milestones based on an established overall project
schedule.
- Ability to develop and present management reports in
oral, written, and graphic format, with excellent communication,
interpersonal, business, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working with all levels and functions in
a constructive fashion to achieve responsibilities and goals, as well
as a willingness to be mobile and be assigned to various project
locations.
- The ability to work in a project environment and be
able to interface with various project stake holders including direct
hire construction personnel, project controls managers, and
construction managers.
